Zoo Med Eco Earth Reptile Substrate

Zoo Med Eco Earth is ideal for natural terrarium type set-ups incorporating reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates. Made from compressed coconut fibre, Eco Earth can be used damp for tropical species to increase humidity within the enclosure. Eco Earth will naturally absorb and break down odour and waste products and is also ideal for burrowing species.

Made from renewable sources each Eco Earth compressed brick will make 7-8 litres of substrate. Add Eco Earth Coconut Fibre Substrate on top of Zoo Med HydroBalls to create an ideal drainage layer for optimum plant growth, humidity, and drainage in naturalistic terrariums.

DIRECTIONS:

• Place brick in a bucket
• Add 3-4 litres of water
• Allow brick to expand for 20-30 minutes
• Wring out excess moisture
• For small animals, snakes and tarantulas use dry by laying out moist substrate in the sun prior to use
