Tunze Macro Algae Reactor 3181

The Macro Algae Reactor 3181 by Tunze is the latest in macroalgae cultivation designed to offer effective energy-saving technology for the removal of Nitrates and Phosphates in Saltwater aquariums.

The Tunze Macro Algae Reactor uses a 9w Eco Chic LED with a spectrum designed for the growth of macroalgae. The specially designed chamber allows the macroalgae to circulate and rotate within the reactor to increase the contact time with the LED light but decreases how much light is needed. Additional 9w Eco Chic Refugium LEDs can be purchased separately for the Tunze algae reactor if required.
