Marsilea Crenata Tissue Culture Carpet Plant for Aquascaping
Marsilea Crenata is a compact carpeting plant that offers an attractive green cover for the foreground of freshwater aquariums. Known for being less demanding than alternatives like Glossostigma or Hemianthus, it tolerates lower light levels and minimal CO, making it suitable for a wide range of setups. Under higher light and improved conditions, its growth and density improve significantly. Each leaf remains small, usually under 0.5cm wide, creating a fine, textured carpet effect.
Supplied as a 60mm tissue culture pot, this plant arrives free from snails, algae, and pesticides. Its suitable for long-term storage when kept cool and out of direct sunlight. Once ready to plant, simply rinse off the gel, divide into portions, and insert directly into the substrate.
Marsilea Crenata is an excellent option for aquascapers seeking a manageable yet visually pleasing carpet plant. Whether in a basic setup or a high-tech tank, it offers flexibility and aesthetic appeal.
