Filter bacteria breakdown toxic ammonia and nitrite, and are therefore essential for a healthy pond. In new filters, or following maintenance, these bacteria may not be present. FilterZym provides an environment in which these bacteria can establish themselves more quickly, thereby supporting a healthier environment and the safer stocking of fish.

Application

Break open the capsules and sprinkle powder directly over filter media. Use 3 capsules for new filters; following maintenance; or when replacing filter media. For maximum effect, leave the pump switched off for 2hrs following use.

2 capsules can be added every 4 weeks for long-term biological activity.
