Kohnke’s Own Troppo Salts Mixed Salt Supplement for Horses

Kohnke’s Own Troppo-Salts is a concentrated supplement of mixed salts for horses living and working in hot, humid or tropical conditions. As its name suggests, Troppo-Salts is formulated to make up shortfalls of a range of essential salts, and also provides additional Vitamin E and Vitamin C to support horses under these environmental stresses.

• Contains all essential salts, and is designed to be fed on a scoop for scoop basis with ordinary plain salt to ensure adequate sodium intake making it more economical to feed.
• Provides glucose to assist sodium uptake and includes added Vitamin E and Vitamin C.
• Extra potassium and magnesium salts help meet daily requirements when diets are low or inadequate in these minerals.
• Palatable, non-dusty formulation that mixes well and does not sift out of feed.

Feeding Directions:

You add Troppo-Salts directly to your horses feed. Each level scoop provides 25 g of Troppo-Salts.

Mix the measured amount into the daily feed. It is recommended to provide Troppo-Salts after extended exercise to encourage rehydration. Always ensure adequate, clean and fresh drinking water is available at all times.

• Horses at rest in tropical conditions: 25 g daily.
• Horses in light work: 50 g daily.
• Horses in moderate work: 75 g daily, ideally split between morning and evening feeds.
• Horses in heavy or intense work, or horses with a dry coat: up to 100 g daily, split between morning and evening feeds.
• Ponies and miniatures: Feed half the above amounts.

Add Troppo-Salts on a scoop for scoop basis with plain, fine salt for a more economical way of meeting the needs of horses living and working under tropical conditions it’s a real innovation to give your horses exactly what they need at all times.
