Size:
30 g paste syringe
Active Ingredients (per g):
- Abamectin 4.0 mg
- Praziquantel 50.0 mg
- Oxfendazole 200.0 mg
Mode of Action:
- Abamectin stimulates the release of the neurotransmitter GABA in roundworms, increasing chloride ion permeability in nerve cells. This inhibits normal nerve transmission, causing paralysis and death of the parasite.
- Praziquantel affects tapeworms by causing spastic paralysis and damaging the tegument, increasing membrane permeability to cations. The tapeworms are then destroyed in situ.
- Oxfendazole destroys abamectin-resistant Parascaris equorum by inhibiting tubulin synthesis in the parasite, leading to death by starvation.
Withholding Period (Horses):
Do not use less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
Dosage and Administration:
For oral use only.
