Product Overview:Tetra SafeStart is designed to ensure a safe and smooth start for your new aquarium. It introduces a concentrated blend of live filter bacteria, including Nitrospira, Nitrosospira, and Nitrosomonas, which are essential for removing harmful ammonia and nitrite from the water. This allows you to safely introduce fish into your aquarium immediately, avoiding the dangers of New Tank Syndrome.

Application Instructions:

• New Aquarium Setup:Set up the aquarium and turn on all equipment. Use Tetra AquaSafe to condition the water and wait 24 hours to ensure proper equipment function and temperature stabilization. Then, add 5ml of SafeStart per 6 liters of water simultaneously with the introduction of fish. Monitor ammonia and nitrite levels with TetraTest kits over the next two weeks, performing partial water changes if needed

• Maintenance and Problem Solving:Add 5ml of SafeStart per 6 liters of water after water changes, filter maintenance, or if high ammonia/nitrite levels are detected.

Storage: Store between 10C & 30C. Aquarium water should be 20C or above during application. SafeStart has a shelf-life of 12 months.
