By creating the right conditions for the growth of beneficial bacteria and other aerobic microorganisms, these biopolymer pellets help improve water quality while supporting vibrant coral colouration and growth. Suitable for use in pellet reactors or fluidised bed filters, the pellets provide ongoing nutrient reduction with minimal maintenance.

The biopolymers used in NP-BACTO-PELLETS promote the colonisation of bacteria that consume excess nutrients, and the resulting biomass can be removed by a protein skimmer or serve as a food source for filter feeders. The pellets start working quickly and are replenished monthly for consistent results.

Usage Guidelines:

• Soak pellets for 2 hours before first use
• Start with 50ml per 100 litres (25 US gallons) of water
• Increase to a maximum of 200ml per 100 litres if needed after four weeks
• Replace degraded pellets monthly
• Position reactor outlet near protein skimmer intake for optimal nutrient removal
